Travel isn't about where you go, it's about how your mind wanders.
The difference between an interesting trip and a dull one is all in the mind. If your observations and experiences don't flood your mind with thoughts and ideas, don't blame your surroundings.
If travel broadens the mind, China is a Master's Degree in globalization. Subjects include business, anthropology, economics, energy studies, environmental science, international relations and politics, to name a few of the more obvious subjects.
